The character Savitar in The Flash seems to be quite different from the comics. In the Season 3, fans are hoping that the actual identity of Savitar would be out.
When TV Line spoke to the cast of the popular series to find out about the mysterious character of the series, Danielle Panabaker said, "Slowly, different characters are going to learn who Savitar is."
Panabaker further added saying, "But I don't know if the audience is going to be told anytime soon."
Meanwhile, Grant Gustin who is playing Barry Allen in the series spoke to the publication, he said, "It's not the same as past reveals. With Zoom and Reverse-Flash, the audience was starting to realize things before we all started to piece it together. But I don't know how you would know this year. And when you do find out, it's like, 'Oh. My. God!' There are really no secrets or hints leading up to it."
One of the fan theories suggest that Savitar could be the Future Flash pointing out where Savitar tells Team Flash, "I am the future, Flash."
Though, the known story is Savitar has come from the future and Barry Allen defeats him and is trapped in the speed force, some fans believe him to be Barry Allen 20 years into the future.
Well, this could be one of the consequences and it makes sense of the message that Barry received from himself 40 years into the future.
If this fan theory is correct and Savitar is the future Flash, he would certainly try to destroy the present Flash to change his future bringing in Future Flash vs. Present Flash in the season 3 itself.
According to the reports, in the episode 17 of season 3, there will be musical duet and a crossover with the Superwoman.
