EXO's Kai to miss promotions of repackaged album Lotto due to ankle injury

EXO's repackaged album titled LOTTO will be released on 18 August.

EXO member Kai will not be participating in promotions for the group's upcoming repackaged album. The K-pop boy band is set to release their album titled LOTTO, a repackaged of their third full album EX'ACT on 18 August.

In March, Kai had gotten an ankle injury. However, he actively participated in his group's concerts.

A source from SM said to News1: "In order to focus on treatment of Kai's ankle, Kai will unfortunately not be taking part in broadcast promotions. He did participate in the album recording and music video filming."

Previously, the 22-year-old singer broke down during a fan meet. Kai, whose real name is Kim Jong-in said: "I'm not sure if my feelings or the words I want to say were properly conveyed during our brief conversations. If given the opportunity, one day I want to talk to you guys for a long time."

"I'll always work hard, and won't be injured. I'm sorry. I think many of you were worried because I've been injured so often. I won't get hurt [from now on]. I will work really hard," he added.
