God of War takes its subject directly from the Norse mythology while developing it a little bit to suit the actions of the game. Featuring the mythic Greek hero Atreus and his father Kratos, the game follows their journey to defeat numerous monster creatures. The story would also feature Atreus' mother in the scenes in between.

The users would be playing as Kratos, but a dedicated button would enable the control of Atreus passively. A single player title, the game is scheduled to arrive exclusively for PS4 in early 2018.
