DR Congo finished third in the 2015 African Cup of Nations after they failed to make it to the final following their defeat to eventual winners Ivory Coast. They defeated hosts Equatorial Guinea to finish third in the tournament.

The Leopards coach Florent Ibenge will be looking forward to improve DR Congo's last edition's performance in order to make it to the final. Ivory Coast are also pitted in the same group and the clash between the two is set to be an exciting one.

French coach Hervé Renard will be managing Morocco at the 2017 African Cup of Nations. Their only success in the tournament was in 1976 and Renard will be keen to guide his side to clinch the title in February.
