Donnie Yen is one of Asia's biggest stars and is one of the best martial artists. Now it appears that he is a BTS fan as well.

Koreaboo notes that the 'Ip Man' star was spotted at BTS's Hong Kong concert titled 'Wings,' on May 3. A BTS fan had managed to snap a photo of the actor seated with his family.

In the photo, the Hong Kong actor who recently earned a lot of praise for his role as a blind monk in 'Rogue One,' can be seen wearing a light coloured t-shirt and has a dark cap on him. He had a packet clutched in his left arm which was most likely dinner for the family. On his right, his son and daughter can be seen enjoying the concert.

Koreaboo notes that BTS's Jungkook is a big fan of the 'Iron Monkey' actor and would have been very happy knowing his favourite action star visited his concert.

In an earlier interview, Jungkook was asked which actor he wanted to work with. He excitedly mentioned that it was Donnie Yen, "I want to learn martial arts from Donnie Yen."

Other BTS members also acknowledged that Jungkook was indeed a big fan of the 'Rogue One' actor. Rap Monster in particular, wanted Jungkook's dream to come true and said he thought their wish would turn into reality. "I think Donnie Yen will contact us very soon... Hopefully, he will notice that we have a kid like this soon." Rap Monster said.

Donnie Yen isn't just an actor - he is also a director, producer, action choreographer and an award-winning martial artist. He has described himself as a mixed martial artist and has a command over various martial art disciplines like Tai Chi, Taekwondo, Jeet Kune Do, Karate, Muay Thai, judo and Wing Chun among others. He is also a multiple-time world Wushu tournament champion.

Donnie Yen is also credited to reviving and popularising Wing Chun, after he played the role of Ip Man, a Chinese martial artist and a Wing Chun master teacher. The 2008 movie's box office success led to Wing Chun becoming popular once again. He will also star in 'Ip Man 4,' which will come out sometime in 2018.
