Cristiano Ronaldo's mother has responded to rumours that his girlfriend and model Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant. The Real Madrid star's mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, has rubbished the pregnancy reports.

The baby rumor started when the 32-year-old footballer Ronaldo posted a picture of himself and Rodriguez on Instagram, and many eagle-eyed fans noticed she was sporting a suspicious-looking baby bump. This led to fans speculate that they were expecting their first child together.

However, during an interview with Portuguese magazine Flash, Maria said: "It's just nonsense, it's just a hand on the belly, and as far as I know, Cristiano will not be a father again."

"I hope he has more children, he wants to be a father again, now that Cristiano has money, he can raise more children as well," she added.

Ronaldo already has a six-year-old son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr from a previous relationship with an unknown woman.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met in June 2016, and went public with their relationship in same year November. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January.

Previously, Ronaldo was in a long term relationship with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. The two parted ways in January 2015.
