Overview

Pakistan will be looking to bounce back following their defeat at the hands of India in their first Group B fixture of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Virat Kohli's men posted a target of 319 runs and as per Duckworth-Lewis method, they needed to score 324 runs to win.

Pakistan were bowled out for 164 runs and India won the match by 124 runs (D/L method). Sarfraz Ahmed will be hoping his side can avoid a defeat in order to keep their hope of qualifying for the semi-final alive.

South Africa started the tournament on a brighter note following a comfortable victory over Sri Lanka. AB de Villiers will be looking for another victory when they face Pakistan in the second Group B match on Wednesday.
