BTS delays release date of 'Mic Drop' remix

The popular boy band is gearing up to perform their hit single 'DNA' at the 45th American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

BTS fans are already on cloud nine after learning about the boys' collaboration with Steve Aoki and Desiigner for the remixed version of 'Mic Drop.' However, now it looks like fans have to wait for a little for the remixed version. The boys have pushed the release date to November 24 from the originally scheduled date of November 17.

"After discussing with our partners in the US, we thought it would be better for the song to be revealed after BTS' promotions in the US that will include participating in the American Music Awards," Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement (as translated by Korea Herald). The agency also termed the song as a surprise gift for fans.

The boys are already having a dream run at the music charts worldwide with their latest EP 'Love Yourself Seung Her.' Meanwhile, the boy group's official Twitter handle has crossed 10 million followers and the hashtag #LoveBTS10M was trending worldwide on the microblogging site.
