The custody battle between the Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt after their separation was turning so ugly that the fans were sad to see their favourite stars in such a position. However, it is reported that currently the two actors are trying their best to co-parent their six children together.

According to inquisitr, Angelina Jolie is now moving on with her life. She initially wanted the full custody of their six children which was reportedly because of Pitt's alcohol addiction, which came to light when the actor himself accepted the fact in an interview with GQ. Now, that the actor is trying to come out of it, Jolie is open to the idea of joint custody. It is mainly because Pitt is now sober and is seeing a therapist so that he remains on the right track.

In fact, according to the website's sources, the two may even decide to get back together in the near future but right now, they are just trying to be friends again.

On the other hand, according to Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie purchased a home in Los Feliz, California and Pitt's house is too down the street. Possibly, the reason to take the house near Pitt is so that the kids remain close to their father.

A source told Hollywood Life, "Angie is hoping to use moving to the new home as a fresh start, for her and the kids, and for her and Brad."

The insider further added, "She's really hoping they can try and put the drama of the past months behind them and start a new chapter on better terms — and as co-parents to the kids. Angelina knows that, at the end of the day, the most important thing is the children and their welfare."
