It's been hardly a couple of days after Amber Heard completed divorce proceedings with Johnny Depp but the 30-year-old actress has filled gossip columns with rumours of newly-blossomed romance with billionaire Elon Musk.
British tabloids have said Amber has told her friends that she is smitten with the SpceX CEO. Though the rumoured couple was allegedly spending some time together during the summer both got busy after that to finalize their respective divorces. According to the Daily Mail, since Elon Musk and Amber Heard starred in Machete Kills, the billionaire SpaceX CEO has been infatuated with Heard. Reportedly, Heard is smitten with the billionaire as well.
According to a source, "She was telling friends over Christmas how smitten she is with Elon," the Daily Mail reported. The source further added: "They are already planning a lot of adventures together and she's relieved she can move on with her life. It's an exciting new chapter for both of them."
It has also been reported that Musk's crush on Amber was so much that he almost begged the director to set him up with Amber at least for a lunch or some party that the actress would be attending.
At first, Heard avoided Musk, but he continued to pursue her. Soon after, it was reported that the two were spotted in London together. Later, Amber Heard was partying with Musk in Miami, it was reported. At that time it was claimed that they were "just friends." Well, both of them were married to other people at the time, so the statement was obvious.
In August, Johnny Depp and Amber separated legally and came to an agreement on the divorce settlement. Coincidentally, around the same time Elon Musk and his wife, Talulah Riley, were also divorcing. His wife filed for divorce in March 2016, and they had a settlement by October.
