Ben Affleck, the acclaimed Hollywood actor known for his roles in movies like 'Argo', 'Justice League' and 'Armageddon' is reportedly going through the roughest patch of his career. According to latest updates, the Academy Award-winning actor is continuing his treatment to control alcohol addiction in a Los Angeles-based rehabilitation center.

People Magazine, after quoting a close source to the actor confirmed this news and made it clear that the actor is continuing aftercare as a part of his daily regimen in a rehabilitation center. The actor has been struggling with the problem of alcohol addiction for the past two decades and to overcome this issue, he initially checked himself into rehabilitation in August 2001 at the Malibu alcohol rehabilitation center.

On this March, he has announced that he is planning to continue treatment for alcohol addiction following continuous failure to control the addiction.

"I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step," posted Affleck on his Facebook page.

Now as he was spotted in an LA rehabilitation center, it has become evident that even after eight months, he is still in rehab continuing efforts to curb the addiction.

It should be noted that the actor has appeared in the promotional programme for 'Justice League' while undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction. According to close sources to the actor, Ben Affleck considers this treatment as a lifelong battle, and he is not taking it lightly.
