Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcome first child: Baby's name revealed

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo had announced the baby news in April.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have welcomed their first child together. The couple named their baby girl, Dusty Rose Levine.

A source told E! News: "Adam was in the delivery room holding Behati's hands. They both cried when she was born. Both families are there now. She is beautiful. She looks like Behati."

"They are both speechless on how this moment feels as new parents. Dusty is healthy, sweet and happy baby!" the insider added.

In April, the 27-year-old Victoria's Secret model and the lead singer of American pop rock band had confirmed that they are expecting their first child together. Prinsloo and the Sugar hitmaker started dating in June 2012, and announced their engagement in July 2013. In July 2014, the couple tied the knot at Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In August 2014, during a KIIS FM radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Levine revealed he is eager to start a family. He said: "We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible."

Adding on, Prinsloo had also opened up about her desire to have children with Levine, during an interview with The Lowdown with Diana Madison. She said: "I've always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family... I'm an only child so I wanted like 10 kids... for sure."

Prinsloo also revealed how the two make time for each other. She said: "Just not overthinking it. We call each other every night and we FaceTime... that's such a huge thing, I think that's helped everyone in the world."
