Actress Lee Yoo Young cancels shoot after boyfriend Kim Joo Hyuk's death

Following the death news of Kim, his girlfriend Lee Yoo Young stopped the filming of her reality show Running Man in Busan and rushed to Seoul.

Actor Kim Joo Hyuk has reportedly passed away in a car accident today at 4.30 pm (KST). His agency, Namoo Actors, is yet to confirm the issue. The 45-year old actor recently starred in the drama 'Argon' and was also a part of '2 Days & 1 Night.'

Following the death news of Kim, his girlfriend Lee Yoo Young stopped the filming of her reality show Running Man in Busan and rushed to Seoul. Kim and Lee recently confirmed their relationship but netizens were not happy due to their 17-year age gap.The couple also faced the wrath of fans online with negative comments. The couple was also planning to enter the wedlock soon.

The two got close after working together in the film 'Yourself and Yours' directed by Hong Sang-Soo. Kim has earlier dated his 'Like a Flowing River' costar Kim Ji Soo and 'God of War' costar Kim Gyun Ri.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan police, the accident took place front of I-PARK at the Samseong neighbourhood. Though the actor was rushed to the hospital immediately, he succumbed to death due to severe injuries. "The fire department, which received the report, rescued Kim and resuscitated CPR. Police and the fire department are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident," a report on SportWorld stated.

Kim and his driving were riding a Mercedes-Benz SUV when the accident took place. Reports further add that the car was toppled and even caught fire following the collision. Kim's driver also passed away at the Konkuk Hospital despite providing CPR.
